Membership Application Requirements

Your completed application form and proper fees must be submitted to the Membership Chairman on or before the Sunday preceding the monthly membership meeting for your application process to begin. An Application Form may be found at WSA's front door.
     The application process is as follows:
 

1.  Submit a cheque for $225.00.  Of that amount, $125.00 is your first year's dues and $100.00 is your one-time initiation fee.
2.  You must attend a first reading and an Indoctrination meeting following the first reading.
3.  You must attend a Range Familiarization Course and successfully complete a range rule quiz at 10:00 AM on the Saturday following the first reading and Indoctrination Meeting.
4.  You must perform five (5) hours of assigned Association-related work.

Without exception, you must attend your first reading (meeting) in person and your second reading (meeting) only after you have completed all of the above requirements.

You will have ninety days in which to complete all of the above requirements.  Whenever, during the period of ninety days, you complete the assigned tasks, you will receive your second reading at the next regular meeting.  At that time, you may be welcomed into the membership and receive your credentials and gate key.  Association meetings are held at 7:30 PM on the second Thursday of each month.

The Membership Committee, a Range Officer, or the Indoctrination Officer can answer any questions that you may have.

SPONSOR:
You may be sponsored by a member in good standing (a member of WSA for at least one year) or by our Membership Committee, who will evaluate your character and qualifications and make a recommendation to the membership.  If there is a question about an application, it will be referred to the Board of Directors for disposition.  Your sponsor must accompany you to your first reading and introduce you to the members present.  Your name will also be published in our monthly Newsletter to allow members to comment.
